Summer At Last

I apologise for neglecting my blog recently but England’s long-awaited sunshine has tempted me away from my computer. Like most people I’ve been kept indoors for most of this year by our miserable weather; more recently I’ve been out and about enjoying Lancashire’s beautiful lush green countryside, also venturing into Cumbria, a fantastic area. Imagine serene, sun speckled lakes peeping through the valleys between green hills and stony mountains. A beautiful landscape doing a good impression of a huge green and yellow patchwork quilt haphazardly thrown over many lumpy pillows. That’s Cumbria.

Now I’m back and hoping to blog more often. My next blog will tell you the date of my free book promotion.

“TISSUE OF LIES” will be free soon.

About caroleparkes

My husband calls me a butterfly because I flit from one hobby to another. Apart from being a wife for 52 years, a mother of three sons, and a grandmother, I'm also an author, genealogist, amateur artist, a lover of most needlecrafts, and occasional poet. Of the above, my most enduring interest has been writing and I hope to be doing it well into old age.
