Here is my contribution from page 7.

Surely the child wasn’t here all alone, she thought, but with dismay Izzy realised she was. She was growing alarmed now and near to panic.

“What shall we do?” Alexandra asked, looking to her older sister for some guidance but finding only bewilderment and temporary confusion.

The younger girl’s voice, compliant and expectant, gave Izzy the confidence she needed to take control of the situation. It was unusual for Alexandra to concede to her.

“Well one thing’s for sure; we’re not going to leave her here.” Izzy concluded after some consideration. Tenderly re-wrapping the baby then timidly picking her up off the damp grass, she added. “I think we’d better take her to school with us. It’s nearer to go on than to go back home to Mum. The teachers will know what to do with her…”

    LOL Carole, I’m many things, but an author with a WIP is not one of them – I did have a go at page 7 of my posts, article 7, 7th sentence, 7 consecutive sentences but ended up with the 7th article being a video clip of the two Ronnies LOL 😀 😀 😀
