Thank you. It was the window shadows on the grass that inspired me to paint it. The castle has no roof, and the late-afternoon sun cast shadows of the windowless frames on to the outside grass. I was pleased with my stone walls of the castle, but not so happy with the way I’d done the sky.

Thank you; it’s a beautiful, peaceful place in South Wales. It was the late-afternoon window shadows on the grass that inspired me to paint it.

Maybe you can persuade (and sell) the Welsh Tourist Board the use of the painting in their adverts 😀
