It seems to me that bloggers are a natural social-support group. When we read a post from someone who seems down, or is struggling in some aspect of their lives, most of us have a tendency to offer a kind word of encouragement. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we extended that support, and offered it regardless whether the recipient was feeling down or not?
This support could take the form of extra participation in comments and re-blogging. I know some bloggers are actively commenting and sharing the posts of others, but many are not. Sharing the blogs of others promotes your fellow bloggers work; it also helps your own profile. Let’s say we all re-blog someone else’s post every time we log on to WordPress. This will bring so many bloggers to our attention, people we’ve never come across before; strangers, who might in turn, promote our own posts.

I seldom reblog. Personally I tend to share in other social media outlets (Twitter, Facebook, etc) to see we can get more people’s attention but either way it’s a good idea. Thanks for the suggestion!!
