A lovely, idyllic scene! I just left a Thomas Kinkaide page, where some people actually vandalized Mr. Kinkaide’s work with depictions of KKK creeps with a cross burning in front of what would have otherwise been a peaceful residential home. WHY do people want to destroy what is hopeful? I love peaceful scenes when I’m stuck on a story idea. I just….stare at it; get lost in the place.
Scenes like the pathway to the house…. they’re comforting. Glad I’m not the only one who likes scenes like that! 🙂

Some people just have no respect for others. What a shame for Mr Kinkaide. I have a calendar with his work on each page.
Funnily enough, it was the lure of the flagstones rather than the house, that made me want to paint it. I’m glad you liked it. 🙂

Very little actually. She took a few local classes near our house, in a tiny little shop, and after a few classes she just took off on her own. My sister’s got most of them, I have a few … it came so natural to her.
